This Victorian mansion, built in 1900, is directly across the street from the Raven Baxter House from the “That’s So Raven” television show. In the 1960’s it was a hippie crash pad, but has since been renovated and restored to its original glory, replete with ornate and colorful architectural embellishments.
In the Roundhouse Cafe at Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center. This seems like an odd subject to find on display at a corny tourist trap.
Emperor Norton was a kooky businessman who lost all his money on a risky investment, and after some years of living in squalor, declared himself “Emperor of The United States”.
